The Ian Potter Foundation is joining the ranks of the Gates, Ford and Getty Foundations to become the first non-US foundation included in Glasspockets.
This year, I was fortunate to travel to the USA with members of the Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation to undertake a study tour of philanthropic organisations. The opportunity to meet with 20 or so major US Foundations and experienced philanthropists was invaluable.
The latest funding round (Round 3, 2017) is the annual Foundation’s 'by invitation' round that concentrates on Major Grants, accompanied by a number of other applications in several program areas. A total of $12.8m was awarded to 14 grantees.
