Creation of the ‘National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries Version 2.0’

To update and digitally publish the ‘National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries’ (National Standards), covering costs associated with copy editing and design, project administration, engagement of a First Peoples consultant to oversee content creation, and advertising to all galleries and museums throughout Australia. The Ian Potter Foundation funded the first edition of ‘National Standards’ in 2008, which currently guides cultural organisations across Australia. This important industry resource urgently needs updating due to increased demand for digital engagement and better understandings of Indigenous protocols.
