Pitch Perfect Workshop Series

< Back

Throughout March, the Foundation held a series of workshops for Victorian-based grantees, focusing on data communication tools and pitching and presenting skills.

The Pitch Perfect series followed on from last year's Dissemination Workshop series, with this year's iteration focusing more heavily on pitching techniques. Participants developed a pitch, as well as a supporting infographic, which was workshopped with input from the Foundation's program managers and presented in the final workshop to external program managers. They also had the opportunity to hear from our CEO Craig Connelly on the ins and outs of pitching and what makes a great presenter.

Participants reported that the workshops were highly valuable, in particular the opportunity to pitch and practice with other grantees, as well as to present to and receive feedback from a range of program managers. We look forward to holding the series again next year!

"Thank you - real life, experiential learning was so useful."
