Recently, Professor Graeme B. Ryan, a Governor of The Ian Potter Foundation spoke at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute's Celebration Night. Professor Ryan's speech explains the background and reasons for the Foundation's $3 million grant in support of The Ian Potter Centre for Genomics and Personalised Medicine.
The recent meeting of the Foundation’s Board of Governors saw 127 new grants approved, totalling $9.2 million. A further three grants valued at $5.6 million were approved subject to conditions and will be announced at a later date. Grants were made in all program areas except Science.

The Foundation’s grant of $10 million is the third largest grant the Foundation has ever made and the largest awarded in our education program area.
