UPDATE – 22 May 2020
As previously announced, the Board of The Ian Potter Foundation agreed in April to change its approach to grantmaking for the remainder of 2020 due to the unfolding health and economic crises caused by the combination of Australia’s devastating bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic.
We can confirm that funding rounds 2 and 3 this year will not open. For the remainder of 2020, the Foundation will consider grant applications by invitation only.
Since late March, we have received hundreds of enquiries from the not-for-profit sector regarding their funding needs. We thank those organisations who have submitted their enquiry and been patient while our program managers have reviewed these and determined which are of interest to the Foundation.
We now have more than ample funding opportunities to consider and so we will not be considering any further funding requests for the 2020 calendar year. We are no longer accepting inbound funding enquiries and have therefore closed the temporary Grantseeker Enquiry form.
Next funding round
Round 1-2021 will open as planned in late October 2020 for funding commencing April 2021. We will advise in late August which program areas will be open for EOIs/Applications in this round.
We expect the usual EOI/applications processes will resume in Round 1-2021.
We kindly request that grantseekers wait until we make a further announcement in late August 2020 regarding those program areas that will open in Round 1-2021, before contacting the Foundation about any potential projects.
To lodge an enquiry other than for funding please submit your details via the Contact page.
