The Ian Potter Tropical Marine Research Centre

To assist in establishing The Ian Potter Tropical Marine Research Centre at LIRS. The Research Centre is a research and education complex comprising a covered and cyclone proof space for services, specialist laboratories (Kalkhoven Wing and Purves Foundation Laboratories) and an aquarium (Sir John Proud Aquarium), and a new entry building across the front of the complex to house the Directors, a small seminar room, a new library room and a lecture theatre (Macquarie Theatre).
