The Ian Potter Foundation is making changes to its funding rounds going forward.  In future the Foundation will only be seeking applications in each program area once a year.  Previously, most programs areas have been open for applications twice a year.

Recently, the Foundation has strengthened its commitment to proactively identify and fund catalytic projects. This has resulted in more major and multi-year grants being awarded as the Foundation works towards being more strategic as a funder and developing stronger and longer term relationships with our grantees.

For this reason the Foundation wishes to advise it will not be considering further applications for Education until Round 2, 2018.

Commencing 2018, the following program areas will be open for Expressions of Interest/Applications once a year:

  • Arts
  • Community Wellbeing
  • Education
  • Environment & Conservation*
  • Health & Disability
  • Medical Research
  • Science*

Conference, International Learning & Development and Travel will continue to be open twice a year in Round 1 and Round 2.

*Please note, due to current funding commitments Environment & Conservation and Science programs will next open for applications in Round 2, 2019.

See Funding Rounds for further information on upcoming dates for each program area.
