Selection was predominantly based on submissions via an open call on the Australasian Evaluation Society website, plus some submissions received by the Foundation on behalf of our existing grantee organisations.
This year, our focus was increasing the number of evaluators with background in the fields of disability employment, financial literacy and internship programs. Outstanding submissions have been added to last years’ pool. Although candidates by default remain on the list, the overall calibre of submissions increased, and some evaluators were removed from the previous years’ pool. All selected candidates submitted a work sample to the Foundation with strong outcomes measurement and experience with government sector. The vast majority also had excellent financial analysis abilities but it is noted where this is not the case.
This document is organised by program area and will be shared with grantees (prospective, past and current) and other foundations in an effort to improve the quality of evaluations conducted for philanthropically-funded projects.
The TIPFEP call for potential evaluators will re-open 1 February 2018 and close 1 April 2018.
The call will be advertised on this website as well as the Australian Evaluation Society website. Current TIPFEP evaluators will remain on the list as long as their contracted work is of outstanding quality. TIPFEP 2018 will be announced before 1 August 2018.
